SurvivalRing Radio – 1st Live 3 hour call-in Talk show this Friday

My good friend and radio show cohost James “Doctor Prepper” Stevens has retired from the Critical Preparedness Resources Talk Radio show as of last Friday. He is moving on to other consulting ventures, but will occasionally drop in to the new show taking moving into his time slot, when he has the time.

The last episode of CPR Talk is here…James looks back at what he has accomplished in the last 42 years, including the last 7 years of live prepper radio, with over 7,000 hours of recorded shows, interviews, and chat on all things prep, survival and self reliance.–live-talk-show

As of this Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, CPR Talk becomes SurvivalRing Radio, as Rich (me) takes over the helm and continues the preparedness tradition of helping folks find ways to have a more positive, better planned, and much less stressful life by simply *Living The Preparedness Lifestyle*.

You may have heard me on the show many times over the last few years, and every week, for the last couple. I’ve been running my SurvivalRing, org website for nearly 20 years, and have the largest compiled site of authentic government created survival, civil defense, and preparedness information, all for free download.

I’ve been doing live radio since 2004, have degrees in broadcasting and web development, and in 20 years, I’ve met a ton of folks in all areas of this industry.

I’ll bring a bit more edgy material, offer a lot of unique historical perspective, and try to get some of my long time friends to come out of the woodwork and share some stories and tips in the world of preparedness and emergency management, which are pretty much the exact same thing.

I’ve got a new website,, and a new Facebook page at

SurvivalRing Radio will be broadcast live, every Friday, from 4 to 7 pm mountain time, on Drop in and listen, call in and chat, hang out in the chat room, and if you’re willing, be part of the show.

I’ll be sharing the site and FB page links all over the place in the coming weeks, and I’ll be looking for folks to really ask some hard hitting questions, bring some new solutions, and hopefully join us live on the show to make our world a better place.

Bottom line? Prepping is about creating alternatives…to handle anything that interrupts our normal, calm, and cool lives.

Problem solving, finding solutions, and being able to adapt to changes, are what get us all through tough times.

I aim to help anyone that cares to listen…and personally try to find solutions to your specific prepping needs.
