My son Robert moved with his wife and daughter to Spokane, Washington a couple of weeks ago. Before he left, he started talking to the local Army recruiter. Seems he is planning on going in, and has lost 15 pounds, a few inches around, and started running a mile everyday. Looks like he is really serious about it, and he has, shall we say, some “interesting” plans. Seems he wants to be a combat engineer, which means he’s going to learn to blow stuff up. Unfortunately, since we’re in the middle of a war, he may see real action, real soon, once fully trained. I’m proud of him for joining up, and hope he makes his goals…
