SurvivalRing Members Allowed Topics

By Richard A. Fleetwood - May 2001

When it comes to SurvivalRing, the main reason for existance is to connect users with topical materials and content that are within the same area of interest that brought you into the ring in the first place. This page will give you information about the KINDS of sites and the CONTENT preferred within the sites that join the SurvivalRing and become part of our growing network of friends and contacts. Understand that while there are hundreds of member sites, thousands of visitors, and uncountable links within all, there is only ONE Ringmaster...the person who is responsible for the operation, content, and working of this webring.

I am he...him whom does the dirty work, the long hours of research, the communications with all interested folk, and continuous and lengthy study to make it even better at every turn. Being a family man, a father, a husband,a priesthood holder, a teacher, and a federal employee, I MUST strive for the utmost in quality and educational sites when it comes to applications from interested website owners who would like to join the webring. I will not allow any site to join that I would not want my children, OR yours, to see because of inappropriate material. I take this responsibility very seriously, and will not waver from its course.

Below you will find the topics I will allow, and the topics I will NOT allow. Any new ring applicant will have their site checked to see if they meet the requirements set forth on the JOIN THE SURVIVALRING page, and if ANY portion of their site steps into the territory of NOT ALLOWED topics, then that site will not join THIS webring.

I am THE LAST WORD on what sites WILL become SurvivalRing members, and I WILL remove any website from the webring that I feel has stepped over the boundary of taste, content, or whatever I consider objectionable. Someone has to take responsability, and I've chosen to do this myself. You have the choice to decide whether or not to use the service of this webring, and I'll support whatever decision you make, and thank you in advance for your consideration.
