Glad you could drop in. Yes, I really AM a Pure Blooded Texan...born and raised right in Dallas County, for most of my natural life...
You probably came here by way of one of my web sites I've created over the past couple of years, and you probably came to see what ELSE I have come up with...web content-wise.
Well, the short, sweet version for easy digestion, is for ME to share more of my goals, my plans, and my work, that may not fit into some of the categories I've created the past few years...in other words, this is MY personal site, with some additional info contained within for those who seem to want to learn more about ME....yes, there are people like that.
This page is also a "back grounder" about me as a person, my business ideas and plans, some of my work, maybe a couple of dreams, my family genealogy (a few decades of work are here), and maybe some surprises.
Hey, what can I say? I'm a complex, yet introspective kind of guy. I'm not a household name, but I've been interviewed many times by GLOBAL media...including the biggies like TIME, WALL STREET JOURNAL, WORLD NET DAILY, and many more.
Why? Because I'm a content expert in the areas of personal preparedness and civil defense, as well as survivalism and survivalists. For those of you new to me, or my sites, let me be up front with you. My main concern is continuation of the human species. PERIOD.
I have talked with people the world over about individual, every day preparedness. I deal with fact, not fallacy. I back up my words with over 100,000 pages of cold, hard facts, in government produced and printed documents covering over 6 decades of government preparedness for absolutely anything.
My goal?
To digitize and share every single page of these documents with my fellow man the world over. To me, nothing is more important than taking care of my family. I gather and share these documents to help every other family I can touch via the web.
Now, let's back up a second. When you saw the words "survivalist" and "survivalism", what was YOUR first thought? Did words like "racist", "white seperatist", "right wing fanatic", "militia", "gun nut", or any other freakishly "out there" verbiage come to mind?
I would say, in at least ninety percent of you, yes. Why is that? My guess is the last 30 years of liberal media, some very high profile terrorist acts by criminals labeled as "so-called" survivalists, Waco, Ruby Ridge, and now 9/11.

Why labels?
This short list of labels does not fit me in any way, shape, or form. Nor does it fit any of my friends around the world. I count among my friends active and retired military soldiers, active and retired policemen and firemen, active and retired public servants, emergency management managers across the nation, and lots and lots of average, everyday folks. I spent ten years of my life as a federal employee as well, after several years in the high tech defense electronics field. Since you've read down this far on this front page, I'll give you MY angle...
It's about man helping his fellow man. It's about people rushing up to certain death in flaming, 110 story buildings to try to save as many lives as possible, even though the odds are against it. It's about knowing HOW to get to those people and get them out alive at the highest possible speed. It's about knowing what to do at the scene of a horrible accident. It's about knowing CPR. It's about knowing how to get out of the path of 300 mile an hour tornadic winds. It's about BEING PREPARED...for anything.
I've done my homework. I've considered the simplest little paper cuts, to the most horrible earth ending catastrophies. I can quote you any of a thousand possibilities in between. And now, I've dropped everything in my life to go back to college to gather the extra skills to communicate clearly, on a global level, all these thoughts, ideas, suggestions, and facts.
Following the path...
Many have come before me...Cresson Kearney, Art Robinson, Gary North, and hundreds of others. All have exhorted long and loud about "basic preparedness". Now, in these trying times, reference is made, but there is no advocate to keep yelling, or whispering, to every ear that will listen, that NOW is the time to prepare for things big and small.
I have made it my life's calling to become a journalist, get the skills, make the contacts, learn the trade, and CHANGE THE MINDSET of the world when it comes to individual preparedness.
I'm quite capable with technology. I understand the ins and outs of sociological interaction, especially in times of trouble. I dig deep for the hidden substance of how bad things grow into disasters of immense proportions. I keep in mind, always, that it is not about being the "last man standing"...it is about having the entire neighborhood, town, county, or nation back on its feet as quickly as humanly possible, after any disastrous event.
In other words...it is about life, and sharing it. It is about being a part of the world, not apart from it.
What's most important...
My work on all my websites, on websites for others, in articles, in books, on radio or TV, or in person, all comes to this singularity of one word....LIFE. It must be earned, and it is hard work, but it is not impossible.
I will give you every tip I have at my disposal, and will connect you to millions more in the world. All you have to do is ask.
