On August 6th, 2001, Listbot.com, a subsidiary of Microsoft Corporation, shut down their free email list service, a service all my original email lists used. I have converted ALL email lists I have over to the TOPICA hosting service, and notified all subscribers of each of those lists about the change, and invited them to join the new replacement list. Sorry to lose a great service, to yet another wave of Dot.Com bombs. However, Topica offers many new functions that Listbot did not, including the ability of the subscriber to choose HOW they wish to receive emails from the list, either in regular per email, via digest, or web only reading. I have also created a couple of new lists to help spread the range of topics and useful information my sites can offer. MODERATED Email List - This is a discussion list that allows anyone to post, but I have to check each and every post and allow only those on topic to get sent out. Causes a delay in posting, but saves duplication of posts and your email account space. It does take a load of time each day on my part.
