Hi,
This message is rather long, but I'd ask that you read the whole thing. No
response is neccessary or requested. Share if you will, as THAT will be
appreciated.
I have responded in this verbose and lengthy treatise this way because I
have received several messages from people (a few dozen in the past year)
with the same mindset as you, and this message will be used to answer future
correspondents with the same ideas. Read it or not, but understand my goal
is only to offer help to anyone who wants it....AND only if they will accept
it.

I for one am NOT spreading fear....I spread info that helps people PREPARE
for what this world has to offer. I also PRAY EVERY DAY. As every person
should...in their own way, be it at their church, temple, synagogue, or mosque.
This world exists for EVERYONE...not just christians, which by the way, I
happen to also be as I have been all my life.
Self fullfilling prophecys come about by people (you, me or anyone) actively
doing things that physically occur in this world to create the path that
brings said 'self-fulfilling' to its fruition. I am, and have always been,
a man of peace. You don't know what I do for a living, other then what is
on my site.
You don't know how much interaction I have with people every single day of
my life. I know that I do the right thing in every possible opportunity.
My website offers information in its pages that people really wish to know
about. And its NOT to cause pain, harm, or anguish, as your paragraph above
would suggest.
You, without knowing me personally, have absolutely no right whatsoever to
tell me I am doing something wrong by trying to help people know more about
this world. I have no idea who, what, or where you are. I don't wish to know.
I do know you are on AOL, and I can do a few searches on AOL to find out
more about you....if I wanted to, but I DON'T.
My days are way too short right now to waste trying to chase shadows or demons,
when I have so much to help facilitate and offer learning opportunities in
this life.
> I am unable to join in this fear-based thinking.
Sorry to hear you don't wish to LEARN what might befall you. You call it
"fear-based". I call it KNOWING WHAT TO PREPARE FOR. That is your choice,
and I fully respect that.
May the good lord bless you a long, fruitful, and successful life. I keep
my eyes open every day, searching for threats from every direction, so that
*I* can keep MY family safe...NO MATTER WHAT. I also do my job at work, socialize
with my friends, and actively try to HELP make a better world for those around
me, either online or offline.
Just yesterday, taking my family out to eat at a nice restaurant and a movie,
we came around a corner on the way to the interstate, less then 6 miles from
my home. As we hit the straight after the curve on a winding two lane blacktop
in a heavily wooded and hilly area of our region, we saw before us, the result
of a car accident between two vehicles blocking the road.
A man in a pickup truck had taken his eyes off the road for just a second,
and in doing so, didn't see the car in front of him slow down to make a left
turn into a home driveway. His tire marks showed for about 75 feet before
shifting to the shoulder AFTER the collision. His truck was 90 degrees skewed
with the road, with the frontend pointing at the yard of a resident. The
car he hit, a very late model green mustang, was nose down, almost straight
down, in a drainage ditch right next to the driveway the lady inside the
car was trying to turn into. The complete back end of the car was crushed,
with pieces dangling in the air over the rear tires. We where the first vehicle
to come across the scene, and I immediately pulled to the shoulder, and jumped
out to help.
The car in the ditch was right in front of a home a man in a green shirt
came out of, who happened to be a volunteer fireman I found out a few minutes
later. As he left the porch headed toward the car, which was closer to him,
I yelled out for him not to move her. I knew from experience that she would
definitely have back injuries. (How did I know? My family and I suffered
the same accident four years ago, two miles from this exact accident, hit
from behind by a teenager....and I suffered a broken back with compression
fractures in several vertebrae, while the rest of my family suffered other
injuries.)
The man in the green shirt called 911, and also got on his walkie talkie
to call up other local volunteer firemen. I rushed over to check the other
driver, still sitting in his truck, dazed and a little confused. He had no
apparent injuries, and didn't complain of any soreness. He was lighting a
cigarette, and putting something in an igloo on the floor next to him. I
told him help was on the way, to stay in the vehicle, and to try not to move
just in case. I then directed traffic, with my 14 year old son, a Life Boy
Scout, helping me, until the first help arrived, then told what I had seen
as I got to the scene to the sheriff that arrived first. Then I left and
took the family on to our planned activities.
Why am I telling you this? Because thru my hard work and much studying and
practice, I was prepared for any injuries, any blood, and any other problems
that might have come from this accident...fire, breathing, firstaid, etc.
My entire and complete goal is to help ANYONE that comes in contact with
me thru my site, my emails, or my home or workplace that wants to know more
after talking with me, to be able to BE READY for this and ANYTHING else
that their lives bring them and their loved ones across.
Yes, war is a bad thing, and with a president and a congress who put their
own needs over the real and true needs of the people, it is up to people
like me, you, and anyone else out there to DO THE WORK that our taxes should
be paying for....in helping those around us CONTINUE living....no matter
what the odds, no matter what the problem,. no matter how impossible it might
seem. There ARE ways to live thru ANYTHING. Its your job, and my job, to
be responsible enough to spend SOME part of our lives working to learn all
we can.
> If my friends and
> neighbors are victims...so be it......I will also be ready to check
out. Who
> the hell would want to survive an atomic attack?
This is so sad. "So be it." "Ready to check out."
Now, this says ALL we need to know about you. A pessimist. A person who would
rather give up, than fight for rights, for love, for honor....or for GOD.
I do NOT want to see my family, my friends, my coworkers, my neighbors, etc.,
suffer, cry, hurt, beg, or DIE. I will do everything I can, with EVERY fiber
of my being, to help LESSEN the suffering that ANY one would suffer. It is
the HUMAN thing to do.
As for your LAST sentence (the one right before your blank line where any
thoughtful, caring, and HONEST person would have signed their REAL name,
instead of anonymously PREACHING "gloom and doom speaking soothsayer you
are" to me), the one that says "Who the hell would want to survive an atomic
attack?"
Easy, simple response to THAT question.....
ME.
My FAMILY.
My LOVED ONES.
My FRIENDS.
MOST OTHER PEOPLE ON THE FACE OF THIS EARTH.
God, you give up so easy...and NOTHING has happened...yet. Yet if it DOES
happen, you will be the first to want to NOT suffer.
I'm sure glad that Jesus didn't have to suffer for our sins....that he didn't
have to bear the sins of all the world for OUR salvation....that he didn't
HAVE to be painfully crucified and die such a horrible death on that hill.
But he did. For me....for you....for everyone.
I'll gladly suffer and die, offering my own life in exchange for saving the
lives of others, exchanging 'the one, for the few...or the rest'. I've done
MY homework. I KNOW that a nuclear attack or all-out nuclear war, no matter
who, no matter where, no matter WHEN....CAN be survived. I know HOW. Most
of the rest of this world does NOT. Including YOU. My site, my work, and
my offerings help SHARE this information with as much of the rest of the
known world AS POSSIBLE.
I've made not one bloody cent from this work....yet I've spent hundreds....no,
thousands...of dollars of MY hard earned money, taking it from my income,
where it COULD have gone to strictly family use or pleasure, and using it
to buy hardware and software and books and videos and online time....just
to HELP other people in this wide, wide world. I've spent days worth of hours
in all the local libraries, including government repositories, as well as
all the local used and new book stores, looking for ALL the preparedness,
survival, civil defense, and such information I could find in my area. I
have also posted on my main homepage, and in local newspapers that I am seeking
such information. I have gathered quite a bit of stuff yet to be put online,
and only time is between me and its final place on my site. Will I sell the
info that I find and gather and write about? Maybe, at some point. BUT, all
that I write and finish goes straight to my website, including THIS very
long message, for the long and foreseeable future.
I would ask you "What have you done, to help others learn to deal with everyday
PROBLEMS and/or DISASTERS?" However, by your email, in its entirety, I think
I already have my answer. God ALWAYS helps those that help themselves. That
means YOU must at least TRY to plan and prepare for normal everyday problems.
Letting GOD save you by DYING in the first strike because its the EASY thing
to do, does NOT get you any brownie points at the Pearly Gates (tm).
Is it for YOU to decide to live or die....or is it for HIM?
I offer this to you only to open your eyes a bit, and to maybe show you more
about what PREPAREDNESS is about. Again, you can take it or leave it. I've
tried, and thats enough.
I give you this information, and my prayers for future safety, in the name of the Son,
Jesus Christ.
