As you should know by now, the SurvivalRing webring is one of the PREMIER
sites on the internet today for finding information and products that
help each and every visitor learn more about BEING PREPARED.
We allow both personal AND commercial sites to join, and put much effort
into allowing only sites into the ring that meet a fairly simple set of
guidelines, all of which can be found on the main homepage of
SurvivalRing.

SurvivalRing and all its member sites in the past have generated over 75,000 hits JUST thru
the webring.org system, which records all hits from those links found within
the SurvivalRing html fragment that EACH member site must have on their page
to become full members.
The hits from visitors to the ring represent a VAST market of possible customers
for your product, book, or information. While membership in SurvivalRing
is free to all, and ANY site can be found thru the LIST SITES link on any
member page, or thru the homepage member site listings, having a banner or
logo and linkage from it to YOUR site directly can bring you even MORE customers
and sales.
SurvivalRing proudly announces the availability to all present and future
members sites of renting banner space on the SurvivalRing homepage and/or
any other associated page within the website. Banners and/or logos are limited
to just a few....2 large banners of 468 by 60 pixels per page (top and middle
of page), and 4 square logo spots of 120 by 120 pixels each (at bottom of
page above Disclaimer and other info). Prices below represent CHARTER banner
sites, and will be discounted for multiple month placement. NOTE that there
are two rates-one for the SurvivalRing homepage, and one for all other
SurvivalRing pages.
ADVERTISING RATES AND PRICES: SurvivalRing homepage only
Large Banner 468x60 Top portion of page - $20 a month
(note:this one banner will be at the very top of the page, above everything
including the SurvivalRing logo!)
Middle area of page - $15 a month
Square Logo 120x120 Bottom area of page - $5 a month each
SurvivalRing website-all other pages EXCEPT the homepage
-PER PAGE
Large banner 468x60 Top portion of page - $15 a month
Bottom area of page - $12 a month
Square Logo 120x120 all pages-one square - $10 a month
(your small banner will appear on the bottom of EVERY page)
PAYMENTS AND DISCOUNTS
Prices above are per month. For 3 months, a 5% discount applies...6 months
discount is 10%, and one year discount is 20%. All prices are PAID in ADVANCE.
No uploads of your ads to the pages UNTIL payment has been made. No refunds
will be made. PLEASE note that these are NOT rotating banners. Your banner
stays in the exact same spot for the length of your payment agreement.
HOW TO PURCHASE BANNER SPACE....
1) Select the size banner you wish to use for your ad space.
2) Create the banner artwork, or if needed, I will be glad to create for
you for a one time charge PER banner.
3) Decide which page you want your banner to appear on, and which URL on
YOUR site you want it linked to.
4) Decide how many months you wish to purchase advertising for, taking into
account the above mentioned discounts for multiple months. Also, the starting
and ending month you are interested in.
5) Email me with your request. I will inspect your banner, and your site.
I respectfully request that your site and/or product be SURVIVAL, PREPAREDNESS,
or Y2K related. No adult content, immoral or illegal products or information,
or racially biased sites will be considered. Remember, this webring and its
info and member links are prepared for ALL AUDIENCES, so I must make sure
that any potential ad for any product must be acceptable.
6) Once I have verified your banner and site are ok, I will email you with
the cost of your ad placement, and the address to mail your payment to.
7) Once payment is received, I will immediately place your ad banner on the
page(s) you requested. Each Banner Location is first come, first serve. You
may reserve a particular banner space if it is going to be available within
4 to 8 weeks.
OPTIONS:
1) IMAGE HOSTING: You have the option of hosting the actual image file for
YOUR banner on YOUR site, and I will link my page to your image file so that
when the next person views my site page, YOUR latest Banner will be loaded
and viewed. This gives YOU the option to update your banner with new products,
sales, or fresh content, without any work on my part. All you have to do
is create your new banner, save it to exactly the same filename each time,
and the rest is automatic.
2) IMAGE MAPS: If you would be interested in having an interface on your
banner that would allow a viewer to click certain areas of the image and
be able to go to more than one site page, I will be glad to create an image
map file for you, and host it on the page with your banner. You or I can
create the image, with buttons, links, or whatever you wish to draw peoples
attention to your banner, and then they can go to products, about us, ordering,
or whatever you choose. There will be a 20% additional charge for banner
space, due to extra html coding that allows for this feature.
3) IMAGE CREATION: If you aren’t artisticly enhanced, and need help
creating a banner for your site or product, I will be glad to assist you.
Rates are for a ONE time creation fee. Email me with your needs, ideas, and
concepts for your banner and I’ll give you a quote.
GUIDELINES FOR YOUR BANNER:
1) FILE SIZE: Your banner MUST be less then 20k in size, for speed in loading.
2) ANIMATION: Animation is allowed with your banner as long as it is under
the 20k size limit.
3) IMAGE MAP LINKS: Please limit to 3 (three) links maximum per banner.
4) PAYMENTS: Your payment MUST be received BEFORE your ad will appear on
the site.
5) REFUNDS: There will be no refunds given, no matter what. The main SurvivalRing
website will be mirrored on at least one other site, with more possible,
so that your banners and such will be available no matter what problems may
exist, and any and all mirrored sites will be listed in each and every issue
of online and hardcopy newsletters.
Thanks for your interest and support in helping maintain the SurvivalRing
webring with your advertising. It is more important than ever to help get
the word out about being prepared for any and all circumstances. Your work
and ours will continue as long as people can learn and know that there is
hope in ANY place, at ANY time.
