Joining SurvivalRing

Read the ENTIRE page before hitting the submit
button to register your site. IT IS IMPERATIVE that your EMAIL ADDRESS BE
correct, OTHERWISE YOUR SUBMISSION WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE DELETED FROM THE
WEBRING QUEUE.
When filling out the form, pay PARTICULAR attention to your KEYWORDS and
SITE DESCRIPTION. These should be as concise, clear, and obvious as to what
your site is all about. The SurvivalRing SEARCH ENGINE uses this data when
a visitor is searching for SPECIFIC topics or products within the ring, and
won't find your site unless you do this correctly.
I will restate the obvious again...do NOT fill out this form if you do NOT
have a website, do NOT control a website (meaning don't submit sites you
think SHOULD be a member), or do NOT intend to follow thru with adding the
html code to your MAIN page.
NOTICE: The Webring.Org system collects personal information
via the form below, to be used only in normal webring operations.

You will receive verifying email that you have been added to
the queue. After receiving this email, you need to add the HTML code
that will be given to you in the next
page displayed after pressing SUBMIT above.

Once you have submitted your site using the above form, your site or page
is added to the SurvivalRing
queue.

You will have ONE WEEK to add the HTML to your
webpage at the URL you have submitted. If you have NOT
added the webring code to your page by then, you will automatically
be deleted from the queue by the webring system in a set amount of
time. If you need help adding the HTML code to your page, email the
Ringmaster for assistance.

You will need to NOTIFY the Ringmaster
once you have CORRECTLY added the webring html to YOUR page.

Within 24 to 48 hours the
Ringmaster will verify the info
given in the form above (working URL, valid email address, subject matter,
etc.)

After verification that you have added the HTML to your page, AND that
your site fits into the guidelines established on the SurvivalRing homepage,
your site will be added to the SurvivalRing and
you will show up when the LIST link is selected within the SurvivalRing table
above, or on your page.

The Ringmaster will update
the SurvivalRing
Homepage to add your link, email, and description in the next
cycle of updates.

You will receive email verifying you are now a full fledged member of
the SurvivalRing.

If you need to change anything about the site info, URL, description,
or if you wish to remove yourself from the ring at anytime in the future,
then you can use the form below to "EDIT YOUR SITE".
Please be thoughtful and notify the Ringmaster
is your do decide to withdraw from the ring.
Below is the SurvivalRing Webring TABLE that will
appear on the page you add the html fragment code to. All it is
is a chunk of HTML that you add to your page, in the location on your
page of your choosing. In order for the webring to work correctly
with your page, you MUST have the correct ID NUMBER for your site, as
given to you when you fill out the above form to JOIN the webring. I
have modified the HTML code so that you don't have to download the image
files. They will automatically download from this site when needed, once
the html is correctly added to your page.
USE THE HTML FRAGMENT GIVEN
TO YOU AFTER SUBMITTING YOUR SITE TO THE RING TO PREPARE YOUR SITE FOR ADDITION
TO THE RING. IT WILL ALREADY BE MODIFIED FOR YOUR USE, WITH YOUR SITE
ID, EMAIL, TITLE, AND SUCH ALREADY IN PLACE. AGAIN, USE THE CODE SHOWN
AFTER YOU REGISTER YOUR SITE WITH THE
SURVIVALRING.
TO assist you, you may save the page to your hard drive when
it is displayed to you, in order for you to get it added to your
website/webpage. |
