SurvivalRing Thank You Statement

By Richard Fleetwood – Updated 2009

My thanks and sincere appreciation go to the following for their sincere comments, thoughts, and ideas about this webring website and how to make it better and even more useful:

My wife Annie and children Laurie, Robert and Kenny for allowing me the time to spend on keeping it updated and growing at as often as humanly possible.

Bruce Beach, for his vast experience and simple yet useful ideas on communicating the theme even better:

Randy Stephens, for his wonderful work on the main SurvivalRing logo images over the years and thoughtful input ; and for the very cool GERBER multitool…I STILL use it EVERY DAY…unbelievable gift…and my favorite tool of all time.

Mike “Thunderlight” Rondot, for his constant, often daily, support and spiritual guidance as this world gets stranger and more dangerous everyday.

Terry Akins, for his continuing LONG TERM support in SO MANY WAYS, in helping with immediate needs of SurvivalRing, while I’ve spent EVERYTHING to return to college for several college degrees. Terry, without you, SurvivalRing might have gone away SEVERAL times. You have my deepest thanks.

Mark Foster, a long term friend whose voice of reason and support before, during, and after the events of September 11th, 2001 helped me keep things in a real perspective…that of simply helping my fellow man.

Jim Jones, founder and president of Live Free/American Survivor, for having enough faith in me to allow me to continue to increasing my skills as the newsletter editor and web master of the group.

Jim Benson, current owner and editor of ModernSurvival.net, and long time editor and writer for American Survival Guide. Jim, thanks for your support at every level. Best wishes with continued success in your projects.

James Wesley Rawles, author, blogger, and survival expert…for considering me worthy enough to follow my footsteps into the blogging world, and creating such an incredible resource known as The Survival Blog…www.survivalblog.com

The “Utah Contingent” of my old ThinkTank.. thanks for your two years of support, ideas, suggestions, and real work..I’m sorry it fell apart the way it did. It still hurts.

And, YOU the reader, for taking the time to email your comments and spend so much time traveling the entire website, and webring, and finding those jewels of a site that make the internet such a powerful tool for learning. and all the folks who have joined the SurvivalRing since its birth and have stayed with it and kept it fresh and incredibly worthwhile to visitors.

YOU are why I have been doing doing this for over thirteen years…I hope to get another twenty or thirty years out of it…if you’ll help me every once in a while.

Thanks…

Rich
