We're interested in building some sort of shelter on our property in Chino Hills, CA... Going by Sallions map, I think we have a 50/50 chance... Our concern is more liquafaction. We sit on cut-into, shale rock, virses the push and packed foundation of many homes in this area. We are on the side (the west side of the Lake Elsenor fault, which is a good size fault)that will raise, instead of push under. We found out much too late to efficently create another home somewhere else. We figure... If it's ment to be, we'll still be here... and if not... then we'll be helping out from our REAL home. Do you have any suggestions, as to the best underground home/shelter for limited space and time?
